Adult Day Program

This adult day program is designed for Hill Country citizens with Early Memory Loss related Dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s or other conditions that make it unsafe for them to be on their own.

Hosted by The Paige House, a luxury retirement, assisted living facility, the program starts Monday, September 13, 2010 and continues Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10am-2pm. The Paige House is located at 2230 N. Llano in Fredericksburg.

This is an on-site respite program designed especially for the caregiver and their loved one. While the loved one enjoys supervised group activities, their caregiver gets a few hours off to take care of themselves, run errands, or even take a nap!

The Paige House can help by providing a supervised program in a safe environment, with special activities designed to promote social interaction, peer support, self-help skills and just plain fun.

Participants will discuss current events, socialize, and work oversized group puzzles and crosswords. Indoor exercise sessions, singalongs, games, arts and crafts, snacks, and a really great lunch will be provided.
